Nursery Admissions
We accept nursery pupils from ages 2-4 years
Admissions are open all year round: please contact if you are unsure when your funding entitlement starts.

Applying for primary school places
Our Published Admission Number (PAN) is 30, meaning that we are able to accept 30 places per year into our Reception class.
If your child was born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022 you should apply for a primary or infant school place between the 10 of November 2025 and the 15 January 2026. You can still apply after this date, but your application will be treated as late.
If your child was born between 1 September 2018 and 31 August 2019 and is in their last year of infant school you should also apply for their junior school place between the 10 November 2025 and the 15 January 2026. You can still apply after this date, but your application will be treated as late.

Applying for secondary school places
If your child was born between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015 and is in their last year of primary school, you should apply for a secondary school place between 8 September 2025 and 31 October 2025. You can still apply after this date, but your application will be treated as late.
All applications made on time receive equal consideration. They will start school in September 2026. If your child attends a school outside of Derbyshire which operates a different pattern of education and they are due to transfer to secondary school phase in September 2026, you should also make an application by 31 October 2025 and this information will also apply to you.
