Right to Withdraw from Religious Education (RE)

Parents have the right to withdraw their child from all or part of Religious Education (RE) in accordance with the Education Act 1996.

If you wish to request withdrawal, please contact us to discuss this and to make appropriate arrangements. The school will provide suitable supervision for withdrawn pupils, although alternative teaching is not required to be provided.

We encourage parents to discuss any concerns with the school before making a decision, so that we can explain the RE curriculum and how it is delivered
