Whaley Bridge ER Primary School

Mental Health

Mental health is something everyone at Whaley Bridge Primary School takes very seriously; all of us are likely to need help with mental health at some point in our lives, and we aim to provide our community with the tools they need to protect their mental health, and to respond when things are difficult.

We know that in July 2020 an NHS survey found that 1 in 6 children aged 5-16 years had a probable mental health need.  For adults in June 2020 the Office of National statistics suggests that this is 1 in 5.
