Whaley Bridge ERSchool Meals
We are extremely lucky to have a fantastic kitchen at Whaley Bridge Primary School. As well as the standard menu (please see the link below) we also provide selected sandwiches, jacket potatoes and a salad bar.
Payment for lunches is made via your ParentPay account or at a Paypoint outlet. Please speak to the School Office if you need more information.

Free School Meals
Even though school meals are free for children in Reception, Year 1 & Year 2, if you are entitled to qualifying benefits, you may also be entitled to 'Free School Meals'.
This could mean you may be entitled to help with:-
- the cost of school trips
- travel costs to school
- school uniform costs
- music lessons in school
For every child registered for free school meals, school receives a pupil premium payment each year. This will be used to help your child achieve their best at school.

Medical Diet
If your child has a medical condition that requires them to have an adapted menu (e.g. allergies, intolerances) you will need to follow the guidance on the Derbyshire Catering Service Website to request a Medical Diet.
Changes to Meals
Children are required to have either school meals or packed lunches 5 days a week.
If your child wishes to switch from either meal option, the kitchen require 2 weeks term time notice. This is due to the food ordering process. We request that you provide this in writing by e-mail to info@whaleybridge.derbyshire.sch.uk.
